After looking at the Vision, we pondered and asked the following questions:
- What is the need for this vision?
- Will we be able to live with this vision?
- Will we be able to support this vision?
- What does this vision expect of us?
- Do we believe in this vision?
- Do we believe in our School's ability to achieve this vision?
- Do we believe we can help make this vision happen?
After looking at the questions, we provided the answers below:
The need for the Vision is to give us a precise line of direction and focus; we will be able to live with the Vision; we will be able to support the Vision; the Vision expects us to produce the best brightest and overly balanced pupils/students; we believe in the Vision; we believe in our School’s ability to achieve the Vision; and we can certainly make the Vision materialise. We have developed and endorsed a Vision that embodies the best thinking about teaching and learning in JC Best Schools International. Of a truism, our teachers inspire students to reach for ambitious goals and consequently achieve same.
We have a vision that all staff members recognize as a common direction of growth, besides inspiring them to be better. What’s more, the vision also announces to parents and students where they are heading and why they should take the trip with us as we stand on the shoulders of success and attain excellence; hence we are best in-spite of all odds.
Our Mission
Our Mission is To Translate Our Experiences in Tuition and Sound School Management for the Promotion and Pursuit of Excellence on Account of Our Pupils and Students.
And it is Your Obligation when we say:
The Choice of school you make today will determine the future of your ward. Making the right decision requires, without blemishes, sound thought and terrific effort, but you have already made a good start by reading this Handbook and thereafter, sending your child(ren) to JC Best Schools International and you will never go wrong. Therefore, make the right choice to safeguard your ward’s future because WE ARE THE BEST IN-SPITE OF ALL ODDS.
We have developed our own Mission Statement in relation to the following questions:
- What is our School striving to become?
- What do we want to achieve?
- To what extent will our School hold itself accountable for progressing toward fulfilling its vision?
- How can we fuse our Mission into the Vision of the School?
- What will be the implication of achieving question D above?
In response to the aforementioned, the implication of our Mission is to provide each pupil/student with a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation, and excellence in learning. JC Best Schools International joins the parents and community to assist the pupils/students in developing skills to become independent and self-sufficient adults who will succeed and contribute responsibly in a global community.
We feel instinctively convinced that we need a framework to express to our cheerful pupils/loving students (and parents) who and what we would like our pupils/students and school to be – that is a milieu that fosters reverential and responsible pupils/students. Through our Mission Statement, we envisage a time when our pupils/students would vow to respect themselves and one another, appreciate individual differences, and encourage one another to reach their potentials. Regardless of the trials and tribulations of adolescence, we hope to have students seeking to define themselves and to find their niche; especially as our Mission Statement gives focus to some characteristics that are keys to happy young people who are in healthy relationships with other people. Clearly, we felt the need to put our Vision into our Mission so as to accomplish what we set out to achieve.
Our Vision explicates a teachable moment in which the Mission Statement has provided a springboard for intellectually stimulating discussion. Besides the Administrative Board, our teachers emphasize the Mission Statement at the beginning of the year as a means of clarifying expectations.
